Hyderabad: The Medchal police arrested a man who was allegedly attempting to establish links with an ISI-backed group in Pakistan and seeking to procure weapons through them.
The man, Zahed Khan, a native of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, worked at a hotel in Medchal.
According to the Medchal police, Zahed had shown strong interest in associating with organised criminal networks linked to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and their associates.
