A man died in a collision involving an unidentified vehicle on the National Highway at Valandapeta, within the Bheemunipatnam zone under Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation. Witnesses alerted local police, who arrived swiftly, recovered the body, and sent it to Bheemili Government Hospital for post-mortem.

A case has been registered, and police are investigating, including examining CCTV footage from the scene. The incident occurred early on Friday morning on the highway connecting Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam.

Meanwhile, late last night on Bheemili Beach Road, a speeding car lost control and crashed, injuring five youths. Locals called emergency services, who rushed to the scene. The injured were taken to Bheemili Government Hospital; doctors said one victim’s condition is critical. Police confirmed that three of the injured are residents of Telangana, and that alcohol and excessive speed were factors in the crash. An investigation has been launched into this incident as well.
