Two people, including a woman, were injured after a man allegedly opened fire near Bhiti under Airport police station limits on Friday, following an old rivalry.Police said the injured — Shoaib and Khushnuda — were taken to hospital for treatment. Senior officers reached the spot soon after the incident and began an investigation. DCP (City) Maneesh Shandilya told TOI that two rival groups had clashed in Feb but the matter was settled after a brief scuffle. “On Friday, the groups again came face to face and threatened each other over the previous dispute. Before anyone could react, a man allegedly opened fire with a country-made pistol, injuring two people,” he said. tnn
