The NDA government’s objective is to elevate the nation’s youth from waiting for jobs to a level where they provide jobs to others, said BJP State unit President Ramchander Rao here on Wednesday. He was speaking to the media after participating in a Job Mela organised under the aegis of the Shobha Foundation to provide reassurance and hope to unemployed youth.
He commended the foundation’s efforts, noting that it was heartening to see hundreds of young people finding employment through this initiative. He said that youth should not depend solely on government jobs or the public sector. With their talent, they must transform into job providers through startups, adding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is shaping youth into entrepreneurs through schemes like Startup India and Stand-Up India.
Rao further stated that the Modi government has created immense opportunities for women entrepreneurs through the Mudra Yojana. Unemployed youth from various sectors, including Engineering, Graduation, Pharmacy, and Para-medical, participated in large numbers. Eligible candidates who applied were presented with offer letters directly on the spot. He said that instead of searching for jobs, this event provided a single platform where both the youth and recruiting companies found solutions.
The BJP state chief also asserted that the Prime Minister has clearly stated the bill to provide reservations for women will be introduced in Parliament once again and implemented. This initiative reflects a broader commitment to socio-economic growth by bridging the gap between talent and industry requirements while fostering a culture of self-reliance among the younger generation.
