Jayashankar Bhupalpally: Superintendent of Police SirishettySankirth conducted an annual inspection of the Bhupalpalli Police Station and the Sub-Division Police Office, reviewing the overall functioning of the police system and public service delivery mechanisms in the district.
During the inspection, the SP stated that the primary objective of the annual visits was to gain direct insight into the performance of police stations and assess the quality of services being extended to the public. As part of the ongoing Vanamahotsavam programme, the SP participated in a plantation drive within the police station premises and encouraged everyone to contribute towards environmental protection by planting saplings. He also inaugurated a newly established badminton court inside the station compound.
The inspection covered station cleanliness, maintenance of surroundings, record management procedures and staff duty performance. The SP also reviewed the progress of investigations into cases registered at the station and held discussions with officials regarding the disposal of pending cases.
Addressing the staff, SP Sankirth instructed police personnel to maintain a friendly atmosphere for visitors approaching the police station and ensure that public grievances are resolved quickly and transparently. He stressed that strengthening public trust in the police department remained the department’s foremost objective.
