BRS MLA from Jangaon Palla Rajeshwar Reddy on Monday condemned the complaint filed against him by Sujana Reddy, wife of JNTU Vice-Chancellor Kishan Kumar Reddy.

In a statement, Rajeswar Reddy, who owns several educational institutions, termed as baseless the allegations that he had abused and threatened Sujana Reddy. He said he did not know who she was, had never seen her, and had never spoken to her.

Mr Palla, however, said that he had spoken to the Vice-Chancellor and questioned him about the reasons for abusing senior professors, particularly women faculty members. The women professors lodged a written complaint with the police, Mr Palla said.
