Kurnool: Marking the World Environment Day, Jai Raj Ispat Limited organised a series of environmental initiatives in Kurnool, reaffirming its commitment to sustainable development and ecological conservation.

Observing this year’s theme, “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future,” the company participated in awareness activities aimed at promoting environmental responsibility and climate action. As part of the celebrations, employees and representatives of Jai Raj Ispat Limited joined the World Environment Day rally organised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in Kurnool. The rally witnessed the participation of various stakeholders who highlighted the importance of collective efforts in protecting the environment and encouraging sustainable practices across society.

The company also undertook a tree plantation drive at its Kurnool factory premises, planting 210 saplings on the day. Further expanding the initiative, Jai Raj Ispat Limited announced that it would observe the entire month as “Environment Month” and plant an additional 1,227 saplings over the next two to three weeks, reinforcing its commitment to creating a greener and healthier ecosystem. Speaking to The Hans India on Saturday, Executive Director Siddharth Jain said environmental protection is a shared responsibility and that the plantation drive reflects the company’s determination to translate awareness into meaningful action. Director Rajshree Jain noted that every small step towards sustainability contributes to a larger impact and stressed the importance of community participation in building a greener future.

The company stated that such initiatives form an integral part of its long-term commitment to sustainable growth and environmental stewardship.
