Vijay Deverakonda has hit back at trolls targeting his relationship with wife Rashmika Mandanna after the couple’s appearance on Koffee With Karan Season 9.

Sharing a picture and video with Rashmika on Instagram, Vijay called her his “best friend, wife and woman” and said the two were “gloriously happy.”

He added that if it was “me and her against the world, so be it,” before ending his post with a blunt message to critics: “Everyone else can go f*** themselves.”

Vijay’s response came shortly after Rashmika posted a lengthy statement addressing the criticism directed at their relationship.

Rashmika said the online reaction had gone beyond normal opinions and had turned into an “angry mob” looking for someone to vent at.

She also said many people had misunderstood what the couple had shared about their journey towards marriage.

During the show, Rashmika revealed that she was the first to bring up marriage and that Vijay asked her to give him time before taking the final decision.

She later clarified that this was not about rejection or hesitation over their relationship, but about both of them taking time to understand whether they were ready for marriage.

She said they eventually chose each other together and that Vijay’s practical nature balanced her emotional side.

Rashmika also strongly defended her marriage, saying she was happy, content and blessed. She questioned why being deeply in love with her husband had become a reason for criticism.

She further pushed back against people offering unsolicited relationship advice, saying Vijay had stood by her during difficult phases of her life when strangers on the internet had not.

Rashmika also objected to comments involving her family, saying criticism of her personal choices should not turn into attacks on people who had nothing to do with the issue.

With both Rashmika and Vijay now responding publicly, the couple has made it clear that they are not willing to let online trolling define their relationship.
