Prayagraj: A joint team of Jhunsi police and Narcotics Task Force (crime branch) on Thursday arrested a drug peddler, Vishal Nishad (19) of Handia, and seized 110 grams of smack worth Rs 22 lakh and Rs 5,040 cash from his possession. He was booked under Sections 8 and 21 of NDPS Act. The arrest was made near Trivenipuram gate when Vishal arrived to deliver the consignment.Meanwhile, Pratapgarh police have also arrested three drug peddlers — Sachin Tiwari alias Dilawar (20), Siddarth Shukla (19) and Ashwani Tiwari (24), residents of Kandhai — and seized 35.54 grams of illegal MD (methamphetamine), an electric weighing machine, one mobile and one bike from their possession.
