Draft notification issued for grading of third language subjects in SSLC examination

The State government, which had announced its decision to award grades instead of marks for third language subjects, including Hindi, Kannada and others in the SSLC examination, has issued a draft notification on Friday and has invited objections.

Accordingly, in the draft notification, grades A, B, and C will be awarded based on the marks obtained in third Language and National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) subjects. Those scoring between 80% and 100% will be awarded ‘Grade-A’, marks between 50% and 79% will be given ‘Grade-B’, and up to 49% ‘Grade-C’.
