Kamal Haasan, president of Makkal Needhi Maiam campaigns for DMK alliance at Chintadripet

The opposition to the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill in Parliament today is a fight against forces that tried to stifle and weaken Tamil Nadu, said Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) president Kamal Haasan on Friday .
Addressing voters in support of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) candidates in the city, Mr. Haasan said Tamil Nadu was standing firm like a fortress, fighting for the rights and dignity of the nation in the upcoming Assembly elections.
