Prayagraj: Ahead of Chief Justice of India B R Gavai’s proposed visit to the city to inaugurate the newly constructed advocate chambers and parking building on the Allahabad high court campus on May 31, chief secretary Manoj Kumar Singh and director general of police (DGP) Prashant Kumar on Wednesday inspected the preparations. They instructed the police and administrative officers to ensure all necessary arrangements, including security, to ensure the successful completion of the programme.On the occasion, representatives of the implementing agency gave detailed information about the construction work of the parking lot and advocate chambers.The chief secretary and DGP inspected the two facilities. They were informed about other facilities like library/multipurpose hall, cafeteria conference room, common hall, ramp area, service block, entry and exit routes etc.ADG zone Sanjeev Gupta, divisional commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, police commissioner Joginder Singh, district magistrate Ravindra Kumar, additional police commissioner Ajay Pal Sharma, vice president of Prayagraj Development Authority Amit Pal, along with senior police and administrative officers were also present.
