Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, who is spearheading the ‘My Booth–Victory Booth’ movement to prepare the party for the 2026 Assembly polls, participated in a meeting at his designated Booth — no. 24 — on Chithiranjan Salai in Alwarpet. The booth falls under the Mylapore Assembly constituency.

A few days ago, while addressing district secretaries through a virtual meeting, Mr. Stalin, the president of the DMK, had said that he would participate in the meeting at his booth.

During the meeting on Wednesday (December 10, 2025), he told party cadre to work towards getting 440 votes for the party at this booth alone and allotted specific goals to each of the booth committee members. The party workers, who devised a strategy to secure the 440 votes, submitted their plan to the party headquarters.

In a social media message, he said that if Home Minister Amit Shah visited Tamil Nadu assuming he was the Bahadur Shah of Delhi, the army of black-and-red shirts would teach him a fitting lesson. “Tamil Nadu will always remain out of Delhi’s control. It does not matter which Shah comes here, even if many strategies are devised,” he said.
