Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be on a two-day visit to Mysuru on May 23 and 24.
On arriving in K.R. Nagar in a helicopter from Bengaluru, the Chief Minister will be launching various development works and also lay foundation stones for projects in the town at 11.30 a.m.
He will later proceed to Mysuru and participate in a programme to inaugurate the chemotherapy treatment centres in the district hospitals through a video conference at the district hospital premises at 3:30 pm.
On day two of his tour, Mr. Siddaramaiah will launch the Indira Canteen in Hinkal at 10.30 a.m. and inaugurate ‘Namma Basava Jayanthi-2025 – Namma Nade Basava Mantapada Kade’ at Kalamandira at 11.30 a.m.
In the evening, Mr. Siddaramaiah will be watching a play ‘Yadege Bidda Akshara’, based on noted writer Devanoor Mahadeva’s book, at Kalamandira at 6 p.m. The Chief Minister will leave for Bengaluru in a special flight from Mysuru airport at 8 p.m., according to the CM’s tour programme.
