Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has called on ministers to take responsibility for the success of alliance candidates in the forthcoming local body elections.
After a state Cabinet meeting, Naidu held a separate meeting with his ministerial colleagues to discuss preparations. He said the elections should be completed by 15 November so the administration could return to its regular work.
The Chief Minister stressed the need for a 100 per cent success rate for alliance candidates and advised ministers on steps to help achieve that goal. He also urged them to take a more proactive role in the campaign.
