Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand administered the oath of office to the newly appointed Commissioners of the Andhra Pradesh State Information Commission, at the Secretariat on Tuesday.
The appointments included the Chief Commissioner and other Commissioners designated by the State government.
In accordance with the directions of Governor S. Abdul Nazir, the Chief Secretary first administered the oath to Chief Commissioner Vajja Srinivas Rao. He then administered the oath to Commissioners Parvatha Simhachalam Naidu, Vanteru Ravibabu, Adenna Gajula, and Kalyana Chakravarthi.
During the ceremony, Mr. Vijayanand presented bouquets to the newly appointed Commissioners and extended the government’s congratulations and best wishes.
The oath-taking event was attended by Special Chief Secretary of the Services Department S.S. Rawat, A.P. Secretariat Employees’ Association president Ramakrishna, RTI officials, and family members of the new Commissioners.
