Tuesday brought new relief to the citizens of Haldwani city when Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Haldwani City Bus Service. The Chief Minister flagged off the buses from the Circuit House premises.

Chief Minister Dhami stated that the launch of the city bus service is an important step towards the city’s development. This service will provide affordable, accessible, and safe transportation to the citizens. He stated that this initiative will reduce traffic congestion in the city, reduce pollution, and promote energy conservation.

The Chief Minister stated that the state government’s goal is to develop a modern, environmentally friendly, and safe transportation system in every city in Uttarakhand, providing better transportation facilities to the general public.

Transport Department officials informed that the city bus service will be launched in a phased manner on major routes in the city, providing greater convenience to local residents, students, and working professionals.
