Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu proposed the formation of  three focused sub-groups of States in collaboration with the Central  government and the 10th NITI Aayog to fast-track progress toward Viksit Bharat @2047.

Participating in the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting in New Delhi on Saturday, Mr. Naidu said the first sub-group should be on GDP growth aimed at boosting investments, exports, manufacturing and job creation with Viability Gap Funding support from the Centre for PPP projects.

He suggested that the second sub-group be on population management working out ways to  help India leverage its demographic advantage while preparing for future challenges like ageing and low fertility.

The third one should be focused on technology-driven governance, utilizing Artificial Intelligence, quantum computing, drones, and digital platforms for realtime, citizen-centric administration.

The Swarna Andhra @2047 vision offers a scalable, inclusive model for national development and it was rooted in family-centric governance, innovation, digital infrastructure and sustainability, he observed.

The CM reaffirmed the State’s  commitment to lead by example in driving national transformation through strong, coordinated leadership at both the State and the Union levels.

He praised India’s remarkable rise over the past decade under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting India’s rise from the world’s 10th to 4th largest economy, on track to become the 3rd largest by 2047.

Reforms like Digital India, GST, Startup India, PM Gati Shakti, and Jal Jeevan Mission have redefined India’s development landscape, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister asserted. He insisted that the State was committed to contributing significantly to the national aspiration of Viksit Bharat @2047 — a $30 trillion economy marked by high- quality infrastructure, equitable development and empowered citizens.

Under its Swarna Andhra @2047 vision, A.P. targeted to achieve Zero Poverty by 2029 through the innovative P4 model, which unites government, private sector, and citizens’ efforts to support vulnerable families and promote economic upliftment. Mr. Modi was all praise for A.P.’s growth blueprint and advised all States to examine and study the reforms being implemented by A.P., according to official sources.
