Khammam: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and workers on Monday launched a wall writing campaign at the Zilla Parishad Centre area in Khammam as part of preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Telangana on May 10.
The programme was conducted under the leadership of Dr. G. Venkateswarlu and was inaugurated by Medak Member of Parliament Madhavaneni Raghunandan Rao.
Speaking on the occasion, Raghunandan Rao urged party leaders and cadre to ensure large-scale participation in the Prime Minister’s public meeting scheduled to be held in Hyderabad, and called for making the event a grand success.
District BJP leaders, including party treasurer Devaki Vasudeva Rao, District President Nelluri Koteswara Rao and state executive members Rudra Pradeep and Motukuri Narayana Rao, participated in the programme along with several party functionaries and workers.
Other leaders present included Allika Anjaiah, Gadila Naresh, Maruthi Veerabhadra Prasad, Pillalamari Venkata, Manda Saraswathi, Boyinapalli Chandrasekhar, Dhaniyakula Venkatanarayana, Gajjala Srinivas Shyam, Pasumarthi Santosh Nagamani, and Khadar, among others.
The campaign is part of the party’s wider mobilisation efforts ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit to the state.
