Medak BJP MP Raghunandan Rao announced that, from tomorrow, the BJP will launch a campaign titled ‘Rythu Gosa – BJP Bharosa’ (Farmers’ Distress – BJP’s Assurance) at paddy procurement centres. He stated that BJP MPs, MLAs, and MLCs would participate across all centres in the state. Rao criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing him of habitually politicising farmers’ issues.

Raghunandan Rao called on the Chief Minister to clarify where, exactly, the claimed 80 per cent of paddy procurement had taken place. Rao suggested the CM should visit any district and interact directly with farmers to gauge actual procurement levels.

Over the next two days, Rao said they would facilitate farmer interactions to highlight Congress government failures. He asserted that their aim was the welfare of farmers, not politics, and demanded the immediate fulfilment of Congress promises to the farming community.
