Eligibility Criteria :

Scientist E :

B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc. or equivalent from a recognized University in Physics/ Chemistry/ Material Sciences/ Metallurgy/ Ceramics/ Chemical Engineering/Nano materials and having 12 (Twelve) years post qualification experience in the relevant field (as defined below) of R&D or industry.

OR

M.E/M.Tech in Metallurgy/Ceramics/Chemical Engineering/ Materials Engineering/ Nano materials from a recognized University/Institution and having 10 (ten) years post qualification experience in the relevant field (as defined below) of R&D or industry.

OR

Ph.D. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Material sciences/ Metallurgy/ Materials Engineering/ Ceramics Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Nano materials from a recognized University/ Institution with 8 (eight) years post qualification experience in the relevant field (as defined below) of R&D or industry.

Programme Coordinator :

B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc. or equivalent from a recognized University in Physics/ Chemistry/ Material Sciences/ Metallurgy/ Ceramics/ Chemical Engineering/Nano materials and having 10 (Ten) years post qualification experience in the relevant field (as defined below) of R&D or industry.

OR

M.E/M.Tech in Metallurgy/Ceramics/Chemical Engineering/ Materials Engineering/Nano materials from a recognized University/Institution and having 08 (eight) years post qualification experience in the relevant field (as defined below) of R&D or industry.

OR

Ph.D. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Material sciences/ Metallurgy/ Materials Engineering/Ceramics Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Nano materials from a recognized University/ Institution with 5 (five) years post qualification experience in the relevant field (as defined below) of R&D or industry.

Scientist C :

B.E / B. Tech / M. Sc or equivalent from a recognized University in Physics / Chemistry/ Material Sciences /Metallurgy /Ceramics/ Chemical Engineering / Nano materials and having 8 (eight) years post qualification experience in the relevant field of R&D or industry.

OR

M.E /M.Tech. in Metallurgy/Ceramics/Chemical Engineering/Materials engineering /Nano materials from a recognized University/Institution and having 6 (six) years post qualification experience in the relevant field of R&D or industry.

OR

Ph.D. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Material sciences/ Metallurgy/ Materials engineering / Ceramics engineering/ Chemical Engineering/Nano materials from a recognized University/ Institution with 2 (two) years post qualification experience in the relevant field of R&D or industry

Scientist B :

B.E / B. Tech / M. Sc or equivalent from a recognized University in Physics / Chemistry/ Material Sciences /Metallurgy /Ceramics/ Chemical Engineering / Nano materials and having 5 (five) years post qualification experience in the relevant field (as defined below) of R&D or industry.

OR

M.E/M.Tech in Metallurgy/ Ceramics/Chemical Engineering/Materials engineering /Nano materials from a recognized University/Institution and having 3 (three) years post qualification experience in the relevant field (as defined below) of R&D or industry.

OR

Ph.D in Physics/ Chemistry/ Material sciences/ Metallurgy/ Materials engineering / Ceramics engineering/ Chemical Engineering/Nano materials from a recognized University/ Institution

Finance Officer :

(a)

(i) MBA (Finance)/ PG DM (Finance)/ MMS(Finance)/ M.Com from a recognized University/ Institution/ SAS (IAAD/ICAD) with 3 years’ experience

OR

(ii) Graduate in Commerce from recognized university with 6 years’ experience.

(b) The experience should be in a supervisory capacity in the field of Accounts/ Finance Budgeting Audits in a Government Office /PSU/ Autonomous Bodies/ Statutory Bodies.

Administrative Officer :

a) (i) Post Graduate Degree in any discipline/Post Graduate Diploma in Management from a recognized University/Institute in any discipline with 3 years of relevant work experience

OR

(ii) Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university/Institution with 6 years’ experience.

b) The experience should be in supervisory capacity in the field of Administration/ Establishment, vigilance in any Government office/PSU/ Autonomous Bodies.

Scientific Assistant – IV :

Post Graduation in Physics / Chemistry/ Material Science / Nano materials or Bachelor’s
Degree in Engineering in Chemical / Metallurgical / Ceramics / Nano Materials / Mechanical / Electronics (As per the requirement of the lab) from a recognized university or equivalent.

How to apply :

Each eligible Candidate has to fill out only one application for one particular post
(irrespective of place of posting)

Candidates should attach the relevant documents in the following order:

a. The certificates and/or mark sheets of educational qualifications

b. Birth Certificate (issued by competent Authorities under law). Or High School certificate
clearly indicating date of Birth.

c. Valid Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen etc.), if
applicable. OBC-NCL and EWS certificates issued on or after 01.02.2025 will be
considered valid.

d. NOC from current employer, if applicable. In case of anticipated delay in getting NOC,
candidates may submita scanned copy of the undertaking stating: “I, (Name of the candidate, Age, residence) am working in (Name of the organization) as (post name) from (date of Joining the current organization). I, hereby state that I will produce the NOC from the current employer at the time of test/interview/verification as and when required. In case fail to produce NOC, I will not claim any right to appear in the test/interview and any other process”. The undertaking is to be signed by the candidate with the date.

e. Certificates of experience in chronological order and should be in proper format. It
should be on the organization’s letterhead bearing the date of issue, name, designation, specific period of work, nature of duties, and signature of the Administrative Authority/ Owner of the organization along with his/her seal, which makes the candidate eligible for applying for the said post.

f. Salary certificates for all the experiences of the candidate. In the salary certificate, the breakup of gross salary should be indicated clearly viz Pay, DA, HRA, and any other allowances. Salary certificates obtained from private companies/parties with consolidated amount will not be considered. These Certificates should contain a breakup of the salary so as to enable us to compare with the scales of pay of the Government indicated against each post wherever required.

g. Certificate of proficiency , wherever required, with respect to desirable qualifications.
