Per Vedur.is, the Ring Road is closed at two locations in southern Iceland today. The location of the current closures is between Vík and Markarfljót and between Fagurhólsmýri and Freysnes.

Additionally, as documented in Vedur.is, yellow warnings are in effect for the majority of the country until 6:00 November 1, including the capital area, with gusts of 15 to 23 metres per second projected, while the east side of the country is predicted to have even greater wing gusts of 23 to 28 metres per second.

Again, for any car travel in such conditions, we highly recommend checking road.is and vedur.is.
