The Hungarian national soccer team will host Slovenia next Saturday, and Greece three days later at Puskás Arena. The national team’s new kit was unveiled on Friday by three Hungarian national team players from the top league: Dominik Szoboszlai, Milos Kerkez, and András Schäfer.
It is not yet known in which match Marco Rossi’s team will take the field in the new jersey.
The Hungarian national team’s new jersey features the Adidas Originals logo, giving the team’s white kit a truly classic look.
National team coach Marco Rossi’s squad lost to the visiting Irish national team in November after a dramatic finish in the final round of World Cup qualifying, finishing third in their group and missing out on the March playoff. As a result, they will only play in friendly matches in March and then again in June. Their next competitive match will be in September, in the Nations League Division B.
Greece currently sits five spots behind Hungary’s 41st-ranked team in the world rankings, but a year ago was still in the top 40. Slovenia is now 57th in the rankings, but last fall drew against World Cup qualifier Switzerland, and this year will also play in Division B of the Nations League.
