One Communications (Guyana) Inc yesterday announced that it will invest US$25 million this year to expand fibre connectivity, bolster mobile capacity and enhance network resilience across Guyana.
A release from One Communication said that the announcement was made by Chief Executive Officer Abraham Smith at the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo which ends today at the Guyana Marriott Hotel.
Addressing delegates under the theme Building Guyana’s Future Today, Smith located telecommunications infrastructure as a critical enabler of the country’s rapid economic expansion, particularly across the energy and industrial sectors.
