Chan Santokhi

VHP Chairman and former Head of State of Suriname Chandrikapersad Santokhi passed away today at the age of 67.

Earlier in the day, an ambulance was called to the former president’s home due to a medical emergency.

After the emergency services had provided assistance at the scene, it was decided to transfer him to the hospital, where he passed away. [Waterkant]
