The EU observers about to deploy https://www.facebook.com/eueomguyana2025
Today, the European Union Election Observation Mission deployed 20 short-term observers (STOs) to all ten regions of the country.
Members of the press were invited to cover the event and spoke with Chief Observer Robert Biedroń who emphasised that the short-term observers, who are joining the previously deployed 14 long-term observers, will be vital for the mission’s comprehensive assessment of the General and Regional Elections on Monday .
With both long-term and short-term presence in the field, these observers will help the mission to provide a well-informed, fact-based assessment of the election process. The EU’s overall team totals 50 persons.
