Traffic arrangements: Grenada Co-Op Bank’s Pump It Up walk

The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) notifies the public of the following traffic arrangements to facilitate the Grenada Co-operative Bank Limited annual Pump It Up family fun walk, on Sunday, 3 May 2026, from Point Salines to the National Stadium.

These traffic arrangements will be in effect from 3:30 pm until the conclusion of the event.

No entry

No vehicles will be allowed to travel in a southerly direction along the Grand Anse Main Road from its intersection with Golf Course, Calliste and Point Salines Public Road, up to Dr Grooms Road entrance.

No vehicles will be allowed to travel in a northerly direction along the following public roads:

  • Point Salines public road, from its intersection with Dr Grooms Road entrance
  • Calliste public road
  • Maurice Bishop Highway
  • Grand Anse public road

Vehicular traffic will not be allowed to travel in the direction of Grand Anse along the following Roads:

  • Port Highway from its intersections with Burns Point Roundabout and Alleyne Francique Roundabout
  • Kirani James Boulevard, with its intersection with Alleyne Francique Round About and Belmont public road
  • Belmont public from its intersection with Springs and Gleans Road unto Grand Anse
  • Old Fort public road from its junction with Lucas Street
  • Cemetery Hill from its junction with Church Street

Traffic diversion

Vehicles travelling in a southerly direction will be directed through the Golf Course, Karland Park, Mont Tout, and True Blue public roads, exiting at Calliste (close to the Dr Grooms Road entrance).

Vehicles travelling in a northerly direction will be directed along Calliste Public Road from Dr Grooms Road entrance, True Blue, Dusty Highway, Mont Tout Public Road, Karland Park, Golf Course exiting at Jean Anglais.

Public parking

Public parking will be available in the following areas:

  • Parking will be allowed at Gateway Assembly Church grounds, situated at Point Salines
  • Concrete area car park at the Athletic Stadium
  • Behind the National Stadium, within the vicinity of the cricket net, entering from the Ring Road through Gate 6
  • On the right side of the ring road in the direction of Wesley College playing field

Parking — VIP/Dignitaries/Vendors with special permits

  • Front of the National Stadium, adjacent to River Road

No parking

No parking will be allowed in the following areas on either side of the road:

  • Queen’s Park Road from its junction with the Green Bridge to the National Stadium
  • River Road from La Qua Brothers Crematorium to the first vendor’s booth on the left
  • National Stadium main entrance public way from Green Bridge

One way

  • Grand Anse public road, with its intersections with Wall Street roundabout, unto Kirani James roundabout
  • The entire Ring Road from its intersection with Cherry Hill
  • River Road public road will be made one-way in the direction of Mt Gay, St George, at the conclusion of the walkathon
