Traffic arrangements for Presentation of the National Budget

The Royal Grenada Police Force hereby notifies the general public of the following traffic arrangements to facilitate the Presentation of the National Budget, on Monday, 1 December 2025.

These traffic arrangements will be in effect from 8:30 am until the conclusion of this activity:

No entry

  • No vehicles will be allowed onto Lucas Street from its junction with Woolwich Road close to the Government House Roundabout

One-way traffic

  • Lucas Street will be made one-way traffic from its junction with Observatory Road for vehicles travelling towards Government House Roundabout direction

No parking

  • No parking will be allowed on the right side of Lucas Street from its junction with Observatory Road towards Government House Roundabout

Parking

  • Members of the Upper and Lower Houses, staff and pass clerks, along with administrative staff, will be allowed to park on the compound of the Parliament Building
  • VVIP will be allowed to park on the side of the Parliament Building compound
  • VIP will be allowed to park in the car park of the Parliament Building compound
  • Public Parking will be allowed in the following areas:
    • On the left of the Audit Building at Mount Wheldale, St George’s.
    • On the left side of Lucas Street from its junction with top Woolwich Road towards its junction with Sans Souci Public Road
