On 2 July 2026. the Grenada Planned Parenthood Association (GPPA) officially launched its dedicated Men’s Health Initiative.

The successful Men’s Health Clinic was conducted in collaboration with Dr Jonathan Noël, a Robotic Urological Surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in the United Kingdom and Medical Director of Global Robotic Prostate, and the Maria Holder Memorial Trust.

The one-day clinic attracted overwhelming interest from men across Grenada. Men received specialist consultations for a range of men’s health concerns, including prostate health, urinary symptoms, sexual health concerns, and other urological conditions. Early diagnosis and treatment of these conditions can significantly improve health outcomes and quality of life.

This milestone marks an important expansion of GPPA’s comprehensive sexual and reproductive health programme. For over 60 years, GPPA has been committed to improving the health and well-being of women, young people, and families. Recognising the critical role of men in society and to women and families, the focus on Men’s Health Services is long overdue and reflects the GPPA’s commitment to confidential and compassionate healthcare for men.

“The success of our inaugural Men’s Health Clinic demonstrates that Grenadian men are eager to take charge of their health when specialist services are accessible and welcoming,” said Dr N’Kosha Fletcher, GPPA’s Family Practitioner. “This clinic is only the beginning. Through our partnership with Dr Jonathan Noël, we are committed to providing ongoing access to specialist urological care and encouraging men to prioritise their health through regular screening and early intervention.”

Recognising the strong demand for these services, Dr Noël will continue partnering with GPPA by offering telehealth urology consultations through GPPA’s referral system, allowing patients to access specialist care between his visits to Grenada. “I was encouraged by the tremendous response to the clinic and the willingness of men to seek care,” said Dr Noël. “Many urological conditions can be successfully managed when detected early. I look forward to continuing this partnership with GPPA and returning later this year to serve even more men across Grenada.”

GPPA extends its sincere appreciation to the Maria Holder Memorial Trust for its generous support in making this initiative possible. The association also thanks its dedicated staff, volunteers, and partners whose commitment ensured the clinic’s success.
