The Presentation Brothers College (PBC) Interact Club, supported by The Rotary Club of Grenada, proudly represented the nation at the Regional Model United Nations (MUN) Conference held on 8 November 2025 — an annual youth leadership initiative hosted by the Rotary Club of Central Port of Spain.
The event brings together students from across the Caribbean to simulate United Nations proceedings, debate global issues, and build diplomatic and critical-thinking skills.
This year’s conference, held under the theme “Peace and Human Rights,” welcomed over 200 participants from Antigua, Montserrat, St Vincent, Curaçao, and Grenada.
Representing Mozambique, Grenada’s delegation — Xavi Buckmire and Jonathan Powell of the PBC Interact Club, accompanied by chaperone Darvin Clouden, teacher of PBC — actively engaged in committee debates, negotiations, and the voting process on resolutions centred on peacebuilding and human rights. Their professionalism and confidence were notable throughout the sessions.
The club’s participation highlights Rotary’s ongoing commitment to shaping globally minded young leaders who are prepared to contribute to positive change at both local and international levels.
