IRENA SolarCity Simulator includes 3 areas in Grenada

The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) is pleased to share its free online SolarCity Simulator, a tool designed to support cities in accelerating the planning and deployment of rooftop solar PV systems.

The simulator has been extended for 3 areas in Grenada:

The SolarCity Simulator enables homeowners, businesses, investors and government institutions to explore different rooftop solar PV scenarios and estimate both the technical potential (electricity generation) and financial performance (potential revenue) of a proposed installation. It provides an accessible way to support informed decision-making before investing in a solar PV system.

The SolarCity Simulator is also available through the Climate Resilience Portal of the Grenada Ministry of Climate Resilience, The Environment & Renewable Energy and can be accessed via Data & Tools → Tools → SolarCity Simulator.

We welcome your feedback on how the simulator could better support customer awareness, preliminary site screening, and investment decisions. Your comments will help us further improve the tool and ensure it meets users’ needs.
