The Inland Revenue Division (IRD) of the Ministry of Finance advises all individuals and businesses that, effective 1 January 2026, the following tax types and licenses must be submitted or processed exclusively through the GTAX platform:
- Personal Income Tax (PIT)
- Corporate Income Tax (CIT) — Filing
- Pay As You Earn (PAYE) — Annual
- Gaming Tax
- Excise Tax
- Withholding Tax
- Annual Stamp Tax
- All Licenses
This initiative represents a significant step in Grenada’s ongoing digital transformation, enhancing efficiency, convenience, and transparency in tax administration.
The GTAX platform provides a secure, streamlined, and user-friendly experience for taxpayers. Users can also view details of their land and properties on GTAX. While property tax assessments for 2026 will not appear on the platform, taxpayers can view balances and make payments securely via pay.gov.gd. Demand notices will be sent by post, and for taxpayers with registered email addresses, notices will also be sent electronically.
The IRD strongly encourages all taxpayers to register early at tax.gov.gd and familiarise themselves with the GTAX platform to ensure a smooth transition ahead of the mandatory submission and processing commencing January 2026.
Taxpayers who identify any discrepancies on their accounts are advised to contact the Inland Revenue Division promptly for assistance.
The Ministry of Finance remains committed to improving public service delivery through innovation and digital transformation. The nationwide adoption of GTAX represents a major step toward creating a more accessible, transparent, and efficient tax environment for all Grenadians.
For further information, taxpayers may visit ird.gd or contact the IRD directly.
