This Independence season, Grenlec is inviting customers to pause, look around and enjoy a splash of colour and creativity with a series of designer displays inspired by the theme Strengthening Our Roots.
Created by talented Grenadian designers, the displays are bold expressions of Grenada’s culture, featuring vibrant arrangements of flowers, musical instruments and other elements drawn from our history and way of life. The displays are on at Grenlec’s Customer Care Centres in Grenville, Carriacou and Grand Anse from 2 February, and Bruce Street from 4 February.

The one-of-a-kind displays are the work of Sherma Mitchell (Grenville), Hazel Herbert (Carriacou and Bruce Street) and Sandra Holas (Grand Anse). The displays, which started in 2012 as floral art exhibitions, form part of the company’s continued support for arts, heritage and culture.

The initiative also recognises both the importance of preserving Grenada’s traditions and the talent of the creatives who help bring these stories to life.

We are grateful to the designers for bringing our spaces to life and hope our customers will find joy and meaning in them.
