We are seeking a suitable professional to fill the role of Maintenance Technician.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment, machinery, and facilities through effective installation, maintenance, and repair activities. Key duties include, but are not limited to:
- Installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of all plant equipment, services, and utilities
- Servicing and repairing manufacturing machinery
- Fabrication, machining, and welding of parts, fixtures, and structures as required
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical related issue on plant equipment to minimise downtime
- Conducting regular inspections on primary and auxiliary equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent, or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity. Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical engineering or automation would be an asset
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing plant machinery and support services
- Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
