GCIC joins ICC World Chambers Federation Global Network

The Grenada Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GCIC) is pleased to announce its official acceptance into the global network of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) World Chambers Federation (WCF), marking a significant milestone in the chamber’s ongoing commitment to expanding opportunities for Grenadian businesses.

The ICC World Chambers Federation is the world’s largest chamber network, connecting chambers of commerce across more than 100 countries and providing access to international best practices, trade facilitation tools, knowledge sharing, and global business partnerships.

Through this affiliation, the GCIC will receive regular updates on global trade developments, participate in the WCF’s international initiatives, and gain access to a wealth of resources designed to strengthen the capacity of chambers and support businesses engaged in international trade.

A key benefit of the affiliation is the opportunity for Grenadian businesses to access ICC One Click, a suite of practical digital trade resources and solutions that will assist exporters, importers, entrepreneurs, and MSMEs in navigating international markets with greater confidence. The ICC will also work with the GCIC to make these tools readily available through the Chamber’s communication platforms at no cost to members.

Commenting on the development, Executive Director Petipha Lewis said: “The Grenada Chamber of Industry and Commerce is delighted to become part of the ICC World Chambers Federation’s global network. This affiliation opens new doors for our members by connecting them to international knowledge, trade resources, and a worldwide chamber community. As Grenadian businesses continue to seek new export markets and international partnerships, this relationship will strengthen our ability to support their growth and competitiveness.”

Lewis added that the affiliation aligns with the chamber’s strategic objective of enhancing the international competitiveness of Grenadian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) while expanding opportunities for trade, investment, and business development.

The GCIC encourages its members to take advantage of the resources and international trade tools that will become available through this partnership and looks forward to working closely with the ICC World Chambers Federation to deliver greater value to the Grenadian private sector.

The Grenada Chamber of Industry and Commerce extends its sincere appreciation to the ICC World Chambers Federation for welcoming the chamber into its distinguished global network and looks forward to a productive and mutually beneficial partnership.
