Our Technical Support Team plays a key role in ensuring our clients’ operations run smoothly — providing expert support for EPOS systems, printers, routers, tablets, Shef Screens, and Kiosk self-service kiosks used in their day-to-day business.
Role overview
We are seeking a Technical Support Representative to deliver technical assistance to our takeaway partners. This role focuses entirely on client equipment and system support, ensuring that Food hub partners can operate efficiently with minimal downtime.
Training will be provided on all Foodhub systems; however, a strong knowledge of IT and hardware troubleshooting is essential.
Key responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support for Food hub clients using EPOS systems, Shef Screens, and Kiosk
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues related to printers, routers, tablets, and terminals
- Guide clients through installations, configurations, and system updates
- Escalate complex or recurring issues to senior support engineers as needed
- Maintain detailed logs of support requests and resolutions
- Deliver high-quality, customer-focused technical support that minimises business disruption
Requirements
- 1–2 years’ experience in Technical Support or a related IT field
- Strong understanding of networking (routers, switches, Wi-Fi configuration)
- Experience troubleshooting EPOS devices, printers, and Android-based tablets
- Excellent communication and diagnostic skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or public holidays
Preferred qualifications
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent
- Experience in hospitality, retail, or takeaway technology support
- Familiarity with remote access tools and ticketing systems
