The Ministry of Youth and Sports announces that demolition of the old pavilion at Beausejour Playing Field will begin on Thursday, 4 June 2026, following consultations with residents from Happy Hill, Beausejour, Brizan and nearby communities.

As part of planned infrastructure upgrades, all activities at the facility will be suspended until further notice. During this time, the ministry urges residents to comply with safety measures to ensure the well-being of everyone involved.

The consultation held at Beausejour allowed community members to share their views and support the improvement efforts. The ministry remains committed to enhancing the facilities to better serve the sporting and recreational needs of the area.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed about the progress and to observe all safety guidelines.
