Hellas was unstoppable against the Bentleigh Greens. South Melbourne imposed itself on the Greens with a commanding 1–5.
The visitors did whatever they wanted on the pitch. They came out flying, racing to a 0–3 lead with goals from Cocks, Bonada and Uchida before the first half had even reached its midpoint.
The hosts found the courage to respond, pulling one back for 1–3 in the 37th minute, but their reaction ended there.
In the second half the visitors stepped on the accelerator again, showing ruthless efficiency in the final third. Goals from Pope and Mikkola blew the scoreline out to 1–5.

Oakleigh Cannons – Melbourne City 3–1
Oakleigh Cannons had to work harder than the 3–1 suggests, but the league leaders ultimately secured the three points against Melbourne City.
MVP and one of the goalscorers of the match was once again the electrifying Joe Guest. The English captain was superb, dictating the tempo for the Greek Australian side and guiding his teammates to a crucial win that kept them perched at the top of the table.

Another heavy defeat for Nea Hellas. Port Melbourne travelled to Langwarrin for a fixture considered dangerous from the outset. The hosts showed no intention of taking risks. They entered the match with fire in their eyes, fought with intensity from the first whistle and ultimately claimed a big 5–0 win over a Nea Hellas side unable to offer any resistance.
It was another blow to the battered body of the Greek Australian club, which for a second straight season is fighting for survival at the lower end of the table, unable to offer even a glimmer of hope to its loyal supporters.
