The Kalimniou siblings and Mary Stamatiou paid a visit to the CraigCare nursing home in Moonee Ponds last Tuesday (16 December), bringing the Christmas spirit to the elderly residents through Christmas carols (Greek and English).
The residents, who come from different cultural backgrounds, enthusiastically welcomed the musical initiative, participating in the festive atmosphere themselves, proving that music is a universal language of communication and emotion.
The visit was the first in a series of similar actions that they intend to carry out at various aged care centres in Melbourne, with the aim of continuing to convey joy, optimism and the authentic spirit of Christmas through music and human contact.
