in a statement, the Federation pointed out that the main axes of the demands remain the protection of human life at sea, the assurance of decent working conditions and the strengthening of the institution of collective bargaining, with a focus on the renewal and signing of Collective Labor Agreements.
At the same time, the PNO focused on the need to maintain and upgrade the public and free nature of maritime education, emphasizing that adjustments are required to the rapid technological developments in the sector.
Within the framework of its broader demands, the Federation also calleds for the strengthening of public health and education, as well as the restoration of the losses that retired seafarers have suffered in previous years.
