The Police Women’s Volleyball Team staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) 3–1 and win the Gambia Volleyball Federation Super Cup in a closely contested security derby played at QCity.

GAF made a strong start, dominating the opening set with a composed performance to win 25–18, putting Police under early pressure.

Police, however, responded decisively in the second set, showing improved coordination and tactical discipline to level the match with a commanding 25–12 victory.

The third set proved decisive as both teams fought hard in a tightly contested battle. Police held their nerve at crucial moments to edge GAF 25–23 and take the lead.

Maintaining momentum, Police sealed the win in the fourth set with a 25–19 scoreline to complete the comeback and secure the title.

With the victory, Police claimed the Super Cup trophy and a cash prize of D10,000, while GAF received D8,000 as runners-up after a strong showing.
