The police responded to a call about violence at a private residence in Rastaspuisto, Espoo, around midnight between Friday and Saturday.
Police patrols and emergency medical services arrived at the scene and confirmed that the victim had died.
The suspect was apprehended at the scene.
The incident did not pose a danger to other persons.
The police are investigating the matter as a homicide.
