President Alexander Stubb will make a working visit to London next week.
On Monday, March 16, according to the Finnish president’s office, President Stubb is scheduled to meet with foreign policy experts and visit the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
At LSE, he will deliver a lecture on rebalancing the new world order amid fragmentation and engage in discussions with students.
On the following Tuesday, President Stubb will visit the Chatham House (the Royal Institute of International Affairs), an independent policy institute, where he will discuss ways to further strengthen European cooperation.
Accompanied by his spouse Suzanne Innes-Stubb, President Stubb will also attend the New Wood exhibition showcasing Finnish innovations based on forest bioeconomy. This exhibition in London is a joint effort by the Finnish Forest Association, the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance and King’s Foundation. Sari Essayah (CD), the minister of agriculture and forestry, will join the presidential couple during their visit to this exhibition.
In addition to these engagements, President Stubb has several other meetings planned during his time in London.
