32,000 Turn Out for Flow Festival’s Opening Day | Finland Today | News in English

Flow Festival opened in Helsinki’s Suvilahti with 32,000 visitors on Friday.

The sold-out first day mixed big names and new acts in bright summer weather across the festival’s renewed site.

Swedish Zara Larsson held the crowd with a polished pop set, and Disclosure drove the Silver Arena after dark.

French artist Oklou made her Finnish debut, turning the large arena into a more intimate space with an ethereal set.

The Black Tent featured Louna0nline, while the Front Yard kept the focus on electronic music with Kettama and DJ Gigola.

MASTERMINTTU staged a fashion performance highlighting emerging designer kboy as part of the festival’s art program.

The festival goes on, featuring performances by Florence + The Machine and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, along with renowned culinary offerings, artistic experiences and an energetic atmosphere.
