More than 1,000 young rugby players are expected to gather in Sigatoka as the Vodafone Western Primary Kaji Rugby Festival gets underway tomorrow.
Rugby Town will host school-aged players representing 10 districts from across the Western Division, bringing together young talent from Nadarivatu, Ra, Tavua, Navosa, Ba, Lautoka, Nadi, Nadroga, Vatukoula and Yasawa.
The festival will provide a platform for boys and girls to compete across several age categories while celebrating grassroots rugby in the Western Division.
The boys’ competition will feature Under-9, Under-10, Under-11, Under-12, Under-13 and Under-14 grades.
Girls will compete in the Under-10, Under-12, Under-13 and Under-14 divisions.
With more than 1,000 players expected, the festival is set to be a major gathering for young rugby enthusiasts and a showcase of emerging talent from across the West.
