The Western Division’s police officers underwent an Operational Readiness Check this week, led by Divisional Police Commander Western, SSP Lakobo Vaisewa.

The inspection ensured officers were fully equipped and prepared for the busy festive period.

Vehicles were examined to confirm they were in top working condition, while roadblock gear and tents were reviewed to support increased visibility on major routes.

With the cyclone season underway, critical disaster-response tools ; including ropes, chainsaws and generators ; were also part of the check.

Following the parade, SSP Vaisewa confirmed that the Western Division is ready to deliver safety and security throughout the holiday season.
