The Prime Minister has reassigned two Assistant Ministers as part of changes to Government portfolios.

Hon. Sakiusa Tubuna, who previously served as Assistant Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, has been moved to the Ministry of Agriculture, Waterways and Sugar Industry.

Hon. Shalen Kumar will take over responsibilities in the Office of the Prime Minister as an Assistant Minister.

The changes are aimed at improving coordination across key Government sectors and strengthening service delivery to communities.

The Prime Minister says the reassignment reflects the Government’s efforts to ensure leadership responsibilities align with national priorities while promoting collaboration and social cohesion.
