A flash flood warning remains in force for low-lying and flood-prone areas in Labasa and has now been expanded to include Tabia, Wainikoro, Wailevu, Vunivesi Savusavu, Bucaisau, Drawa, Nabalebale, Urata, Nakorotari, Nasekula, Batiri, Seaqaqa and Nasekawa, along with other southern low-lying coastal areas of Vanua Levu.
A flash flood alert also remains active for eastern Viti Levu, from Navua to Nalawa in Ra, as well as across Vanua Levu.
A heavy rain warning is still in place for the northern and eastern parts of the Fiji Group, as an active trough of low pressure continues to bring cloud, showers and persistent rain.
Occasional to periods of heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected over the Northern Division and the Lau and Lomaiviti groups.
The public is advised to remain alert and follow weather updates as conditions remain unstable.
