Shah Group of Companies Dreketi FC have secured their place in the final of the 86th FMF Inter-District Championship Senior Division after a convincing 3-0 victory over Pillay Garments Taveuni FC in the first semi-final at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva today.

Despite a closely contested first half that ended scoreless, Dreketi found the breakthrough in the 67th minute when Villiame Koroiwasa struck to give his side a crucial lead.

Dreketi continued to dominate proceedings, and substitute Melly Matua put the result beyond doubt after successfully converting a penalty in the 80th minute.

The win sends Shah Group of Companies Dreketi FC into tomorrow’s Senior Division final, where they will meet the winner of the second semi-final between Bua FC and Nadogo FC, currently being played at Buckhurst Park in Suva.

The Senior Division final is scheduled to kick off at 9:30am tomorrow at the HFC Bank Stadium, with Dreketi now one victory away from claiming the prestigious title.
