For many children, a public holiday is an opportunity to relax and have fun — but for the All of Nations Christian Fellowship (ANCF) Rewa Province, it is also an opportunity to keep children connected, engaged and away from harmful influences.

Close to 60 Sunday School students from All Nations Christian Fellowship Rewa Province spent the day at My Suva Park, enjoying the public holiday under the supervision of church leaders, parents and guardians.

The outing coincided with the celebration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad and provided an opportunity for the children to come together, strengthen friendships and enjoy meaningful activities outside the classroom and church environment.

ANCF Rewa Province Senior Pastor Meli Cagilaba said the church believes in nurturing children from a young age, while continuing to place trust in youths and encouraging them to make positive choices.

Sunday School teacher and parent Laisa Tuiyanuca emphasized that public and school holidays provide an important opportunity for parents to spend quality time with their children.

Sunday School student Emanuel Tuisaucakacaka acknowledges the support of parents and church leaders in organizing the outing, describing the experience as an eye-opener for the students.

For ANCF Rewa Province, the initiative goes beyond a day at the park — it is about creating positive spaces for children, strengthening family involvement and helping shape young people who can make responsible choices as they grow.
